Dr. Issa started ISSA PHYSICAL THERAPY in 2005 with the aim of providing the highest quality physical therapy care in the DC Metro area. He is an instructor for trigger point dry needling courses through Kinetacore. Dr. Issa has lectured and coauthored book chapters on headaches, orthopaedic manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, and the differential diagnosis of fibromyalgia. His expertise lies in orthopaedic manual therapy used in various neuromusculoskeleatal conditions with a special interest in Spinal Conditions, Sports Medicine, Muscle Pain, Headaches, TMJ Disorders and Pain Management. With his vast specialty skill set, Dr. Issa uses a combination of manipulative therapy, myofascial trigger point dry needling, and functional & sports-specific exercise therapy to help his clients meet their goals.

- B.S. degree in Physiotherapy from the Hogeschool Enschede in the Netherlands in 1998
- B.S. degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Pennsylvania State University in 1995
