Pasquale Silvestre ‘Lino’, CPT

Pasquale Silvestre, mostly known as Lino, is a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). He specializes in helping people improve their overall functionality, movement, flexibility and strength to achieve total body wellness.

Most of Lino's techniques derive from his certification and training in Functional Movement Systems (FMS). FMS is a grading system that identifies movement patterns that are essential for normal function. Studying these movement patterns allows him to pinpoint any functional limitations and asymmetries that can actually reduce the effects of a person's functional, fitness or strength training. The goal is then to target those limitations and asymmetries through tailored exercise techniques in order to restore proper movement patterns and develop strength.

Lino has also been a student of The Janda Approach, Pavel Tsatsouline's Kettle Bell Training and Pancafit's Global Postural Stretching. He has a passion for helping others reach their health and fitness goals so his studies never stop. That drive also helped him earn him an International Federation of Body Building (IFBB) Championship. That same year, he placed in the Italian National IFBB Competition

Lino's personal training career started about 20 years ago in Naples, Italy. In 2001, he began working for the U.S. Navy as a personal trainer for all service members and their families. By 2005, he was the Fitness Leader for Naval Support Activity, Naples, Italy. Five years later, he moved to the United States to be closer to family and has since been self-employed helping others reach their wellness goals.
